What exactly does your system do?

MovingAhead is an on-line conveyancing tracking system. As one of our clients, you will be able to follow the progress of your sale and/or purchase, or your remortgage, from initiation through to completion.

Full details are provided on every stage of the conveyancing process (in easy to understand layman’s language not unintelligible legal jargon!).

If urgent action is required to be able to progress matters then messages will appear on the tracking pages indicating what needs to be done next and who it needs to be done by.

A facility has also been built in to enable clients to reply to these messages or request further clarification via email initiated directly from within the tracking pages.

You can now also opt to receive automatically formatted emails (click here to see an example) every time that any of your matters are updated. That way you will receive immediate notification of every change, whether it be the completion of a stage or the entry of further details in one of the text or notes sections. All you need to do is tell us the email addresses where you would like these notifications sent when you instruct us via our online quotation and instruction screens – it really is that easy! Click here for further details.

How much will it cost me to use your system?

This is the best part – it will cost you absolutely nothing! This is a complimentary service available to all clients who have instructed Pryse Jones Property Lawyers to act on their behalf. Once you have signed up to use our service you can make as much or as little use of it as you like – at no additional cost whatsoever!

How will using this system enable me to "Move Ahead"?

The best properties are always in strong demand and until contracts have been exchanged sellers are free to change their minds and pull out, or offer the property to another bidder. Knowing exactly where you are in the conveyancing process and what can be done to progress matters can prove to be a tremendous advantage. Although our lawyers pride themselves on their accessibility by telephone they are, of course, unable to talk to two clients at once! There are bound to be some occasions when there are small unavoidable delays in the provision of up to date progress reports. Generally, in most instances, clients using our service soon discover that many telephone calls become unnecessary, as the information can be more readily obtained by viewing the details on-line.

If I am buying and selling can I track the progress of both my sale and my purchase?

Of course – our system allows you to track any number of transactions. You merely select which transaction you wish to view from your personalised list.

Does anyone else apart from my lawyer have access to the information shown on my personal tracking pages?

Generally no, the details are only available to you. You will be required to enter a user specific username and password in order to gain access to your personal pages. Provided that they are approved agents of MovingAhead, and you have given us your authority, we will also grant access to your estate agent or financial adviser. The progress information shown on the site can often also be extremely useful in helping them to push matters forward on your behalf.

TOP

What personal details are shown on the site – will any information be made available to third parties?

Apart from your name and the address of the property you are buying or selling, no other personal details will be shown on the tracking pages. We will not be providing any of your details to outside agencies.

TOP

What happens if my sale, purchase or remortgage does not proceed?

Details in respect of the aborted matter will simply be removed from our site.

Is this service not rather impersonal?

Our on-line tracking system is intended to be an extension of our existing highly successful conveyancing formula, not a substitute for it. Pryse Jones already enjoys an excellent reputation for providing one of the most efficient, cost-effective and personal conveyancing services in England and Wales. We believe that the introduction of our on-line tracking system demonstrates our commitment in continuing to provide our clients with some of the most up to date conveyancing techniques available in the world.

How do I sign up to use your service?

The MovingAhead initiative is only available to clients who have instructed Pryse Jones Property Lawyers to act on their behalf in respect of the sale and/or purchase of a property in the UK. In order to instruct Pryse Jones you can either contact us by conventional means such as telephone or email or to obtain an Instant Quotation and access to our simple online instruction form click this button now and select the appropriate transaction type from the drop-down list box.

All submitted on-line forms will be dealt with immediately on receipt; we aim to respond the same working day. Before Pryse Jones can accept instructions to act on your behalf, a signed Standard Terms of Engagement will be required from you. When this form is forwarded to you, an application form for the on-line conveyancing service will accompany it. Once Pryse Jones has received your signed Standard Terms of Engagement and MovingAhead application, your details will be set up on our system. A user name and password will then be issued to you to enable access to your tracking pages.

What immediate plans do you have to extend the functionality of your site?

At present, our system facilitates the tracking of sales, purchases and remortgages. In the future we will be extending this to cover other transactions. We will also be establishing links with other reputable organisations that provide high quality services complimentary to our own, and introducing information pages that provide help with every stage of the house moving process.
