E-conveyancing is moving closer and with it comes the opportunity to reduce the time it takes to buy and sell your home. Transferring the ownership of a property from one person to another takes time. There are mountains of legal papers that have to go between the property lawyers in the chain. Delays commonly occur when things are not returned or are stuck in someone's in-tray. The best way to speed things up is to constantly chase, chase, chase.

Each time an action is completed by one of the team, the next action is automatically scheduled. Documents received and sent out by post and email are all included on the system so everything is close at hand and the elusive "paperless office" is a step closer!

A special synchronisation program had to be designed and developed. This means that every time a conveyancing stage is completed it is automatically updated on our secure website and clients receive an email on progress. This keeps everyone up-to-date and informed every step of the way.

"With our previous system, every time an internal stage was reached this had to be manually entered on to our website which took time. The new case management system frees up more time for our team to be proactive in chasing and in advising our clients on what is happening on their cases."
