MovingAhead is an online conveyancing tracking system. As one of our clients, you will be able to follow the progress of your sale, purchase or your remortgage, from the time you instruct us through to completion.

Full details are provided on every stage of the conveyancing process in plain English.

If urgent action is required to be able to progress matters then messages will appear on the tracking pages indicating what needs to be done next and who it needs to be done by. Clients can reply to these messages or request further clarification via email initiated directly from within the tracking pages.

You can also opt to receive an email every time your case file is updated or when urgent matters need your attention. All you need to do is tell us the email addresses where you would like these notifications sent when you instruct us – it really is that easy!

   

How much will it cost me to use your system?

Nothing - it is free! This is a complimentary service available to all clients who have instructed MovingAhead to act on their behalf. Once you have signed up to use our service you can make as much or as little use of it as you like – at no additional cost whatsoever!
   

Will using MovingAhead speed up my move?

If I am buying and selling can I track the progress of both my sale and my purchase?
 

Yes – our system allows you to track any number of transactions. You merely select which transaction you wish to view from your personalised list.
   

Does anyone else apart from my lawyer have access to the information shown on my personal tracking pages?
 

Generally no, the details are only available to you. You will be required to enter a user specific username and password in order to gain access to your personal pages.

Your Estate Agent and Financial Adviser can also have access to your online case file providing that they are approved agents of MovingAhead, and you have given us your authority. The progress information shown on the site can be extremely useful in helping them to push matters forward on your behalf.

   

What personal details are shown on the site – will any information be made available to third parties?
 

Apart from your name and the address of the property you are buying or selling, no other personal details will be shown on the tracking pages. We will not be providing any of your details to outside agencies.
   

What happens if my sale, purchase or remortgage does not proceed?

Details in respect of the aborted matter will simply be removed from our site.
   

Do you give a truly personal service?

Our online tracking system is intended to be an extension of our existing highly successful personal conveyancing service – it is not a substitute for it. What happens next once I have instructed you to carry out my conveyancing?
 

When we receive your instruction, one of our team will be assigned to your case. Your personal conveyancer will write to you enclosing all the relevant documents that we need signed and completed in order to start work on your conveyancing. Once these documents are returned, your tracking pages will become live on the MovingAhead site so that you can review progress 24-hours a day from anywhere in the world.
   

What do I do if I have problems logging on?

If you are having problems accessing your case file, email or call us – we are happy to help.
   

Is there any advantage in choosing a conveyancer or solicitor who is local to me to carry out my conveyancing?
 

No, MovingAhead offers a fast and convenient service that comes direct to you no matter where you are in the world! As long as the property you are buying, selling or remortgaging is in England or Wales, then we can act for you. All the paperwork for your property conveyancing transactions will be sent via email or post (as you wish) directly to you at home. You can then review and sign all the relevant documents at your convenience before returning then to us. In the future it may even be possible for you to attach electronic signatures to your forms and return your documents electronically!
